Invited reseracher will meet in  Tromsø 1.-2. September 2016 for a mini-symposium.

- to share knowledge, plans and ideas

• Get an overview of what is going on around the world
• Revisit and clarify our goals
• Think about are what are the values we really want to define and research that captures what makes rural generalism so different & important
• Develop a research agenda
• Do some initial collaborative work

The first Rural Generalism Summit took place in Cairns, Austraia in 2013. The second one in Montreal, Canada April 2015. http://www.ruralgeneralismsummit.net/

The next summit will be in Carins, Australia, 28.-29. April 2017 as a pre-conference event connected to WONCA World of Rural Health Conference 2017

In between these larger conferences, we would like to host a gathering for researchers.
